Pantothenic (referred to as B5) e part of the vitamin B group. Pantothenic acid is a water soluble vitamin, this vitamin is crucial for the production of red blood cells, as well as sex and stress related hormones produced in the adrenal glands. Vitamins of the B-group are responsible to convert carbohydrates into glucose, and are responsible to distribute fats and proteins. B complex vitamins also play an important role in maintaining muscle tone in the gastrointestinal tract and promoting the health of the nervous system, skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver.
